Adult Small Groups at Crossroads
Our Sunday services are fun and a great chance for you to find out
about God in a large group. But if you want to learn more and become
close friends with people at Crossroads, a small group is the way to go.
There are groups that fit wherever you are in your spiritual journey.
We'll try to answer some basic questions about small groups right here.
Why is a small group important?
In our fast-paced world, it's not always easy finding a place to
belong. Although the desire to connect with others, to be accepted and
cared for, is strong we don't always know where to find it. A small
group is often the answer. We invite you to discover an intimate circle
of friends who are willing to share the ups and downs of life. We find
that time spent praying, studying the Bible, and serving is a great way
to take our next step toward God-together. We want to impact our world!
What do people do in a small group?
We have a variety of groups for different kinds of needs, but you can
be sure that in each small group, the members will:
- develop lasting friendships,
- pray for one another,
- encourage each other through life's challenges,
- dig into God's Word, and
- experience authentic community.
When and where does a small group meet?
The members of each group decide on the day and place where they will
meet. Generally, each group meets once per week in people's homes. For
details on time and place and other specifics on particular groups call our Ministry Centre at 905-426-4962 or
email us at office@crossroadsinajax.org.
Small Groups…
are a great way to get to know God and people. There is a place at Crossroads
where you can be known and loved; a place where you can have friendships that
impact your life; a place where you will be supported in difficult times;
celebrated in good times.
