on Sunday mornings.
Our Ministry Centre is located at

There is usually a member of our staff available at the ministry centre
most weekdays. If you have a special need to talk to someone feel free

Crossroads Community Church is part of a network of churches called
the Christian Reformed Church in North
America. "Christian"
because we believe that Jesus is the Son of God who alone can save us
from sin and give us abundant life, and "Reformed" because of
the conviction that everything we do and believe should be tested by the
Bible.
Adventure Club is the name of our
kid's program for those age 4
through grade 4. You can bring your children to this program when you
arrive for Sunday morning service at Crossroads. A greeter will be happy
to show you where Adventure Club is held.
"Wee Care" is the name of our
nursery program for babies
and toddlers. During each Sunday morning service our nursery is staffed
by our volunteers who will go out of their way to provide loving care
for your little ones allowing you to participate in the service.
We sing mainly upbeat, contemporary Christian music at our Sunday
morning services. We have a praise band with guitars, keyboards, and
drums. A vocal praise team leads our worship time.
Our Jr. High 'Wave' group meets during the Sunday morning
service, every other Sunday. They are dismissed for their meetings after
our worship time. In a smaller group setting, they explore their faith,
their values, and their relationships with others. These small groups
also participate in fun outings and service projects throughout the
year. For Sr. High students please
contact our Ministry Centre, since this
ministry is currently under revision. Both age
groups are welcome to be involved in the broader ministry of the church.
Teens are involved in dramatic skits, praise band, running sound and
video equipment, and many other areas of church life.
Yes, Crossroads has a wide variety of small groups who meet for Bible
study, prayer, and social activities. They're a great way to develop
lasting friendships and encourage one another through life's challenges.
Call the church office to learn
about the groups meeting close to your home.
Crossroads wants to be a safe place for people to find out more about
Christianity. You don't need to feel awkward about your questions, or
uncertain about your doubts. Our Sunday services are intended to be a
good place to come wherever you are on your spiritual journey. In
addition, Crossroads has a number of small groups intended fully for
those who are still seeking and trying to find out answers about
Christianity without having decided about it yet. For more information
about what it means to be a Christian, check the other areas within Resources
section such as 'Spiritual Questions'.
Children of all ages can be baptized as long as a parent is a member
of Crossroads Church.
On an ongoing basis we offer newcomer's events - posted in the 'Events' section of our website. In this informal setting, you
can hear the vision of Crossroads and ask as many questions as you'd
like. You'll also get to know others who are new to Crossroads Church.
In addition, about every four months or so we offer 'Next
Steps' which is a seminar intended for those who have been checking out
Crossroads for a while and want to find out more about further steps of
involvement. Check the 'Events' section for upcoming
seminars. |
